The Sharpe N-Series mixer drives utilize all helical gearing made from SAE 8260 steel, carburized to hardness of 58 to 62 Rockwell C, and ground to AGMA Quality Level 12, assuring quiet operation below 85 dbA. The in-line helical gear sets are available in double and triple reduction and are arranged to provide a compact footprint, within a durable and corrosion-resistant cast iron housing, SAE Class 30.

The Cycloidal Drive
The Sharpe CB-Series drives combine a compact cycloidal input gear set with a slow speed helical output gear set to provide an extremely efficient, quiet and durable gearbox. Multiple tooth contact in the cycloidal gearing and oversize helical gearing allows for momentary overloads of 300% to 500% without damage to the gearbox. |
